[離散] 3-45 例題29

想請問一下這題的答案有沒有錯誤~?

SURREPTITIOUS

(a) exactly three pairs of consecutive identical letters

ans: C(5,3) * 10! / 2!^2 - 4 * C(5,4) * 9!/2! + C(5,2)*8!

想請問上面的4，是如何得到~~?


(b) at most three pairs of consecutive identical letters

ans: 13! / 2!^5 - C(5,4) * 9! / 2! + C(4,3) * 8!
↑

上面這個最後面那項不知道怎麼來的

(b) 解法應該是用全部去扣掉 4-pairs 5-pairs 吧~
